How to Input Pen/Marker Drawing

Note: PDF Reader for iPad offers users Pen & Marker to add freehand draw.

Pen Tool

1. Go to the page you would like to add a freehand drawing. Tap and hold the "Freehand" icon in the annotation toolbar.

2. Select "Pen" in the pop up menu. Tap anywhere on the page to save the settings.

3. Tap the "Freehand" icon again to enter freehand mode. You will be able to sign your name or draw anything on the screen with your finger.  

4. Remember to tap "Done" to keep your annotation.  

5. By tapping the mark-up, you can also adjust the position and size of the targeted annotation.  

6. You can change the color, thickness and opacity or add a note to it.



7. To delete a markup, tap it and tap “Delete”.      

Marker Tool

1. Go to the page you would like to add a freehand drawing. Tap and hold the "Freehand" icon in the annotation toolbar.

2. Select “Marker" at the pop up menu. Tap anywhere on the page to save the settings.

3. Tap the "Freehand" icon again to enter freehand mode. You will be able to highlight text or draw anything on the screen with your finger.  

4. Remember to tap “Done” to keep your annotation.  

5. By tapping the mark-up, you also adjust the position and size of the targeted annotation.  

6. You can change the color and opacity or add a note to it.

7. To delete a markup, tap it and tap “Delete”.
