Annotate PDF documents and link highlighted quotes from PDFs to your notes. Connect ideas and build your own knowledge. You can also trace references and link back to the PDF source quickly.
Note: This is a Premium feature; it comes with NoteLedge Pro or a Creativity 365 subscription.
1. Import PDFs to NoteLedge by pressing the "+" in the lower right hand corner of the homepage and pressing "Import from Cloud." You can import via Cloud apps, email, or other apps.
2. To highlight documents, press the "Edit" icon in the top left corner of the PDF view. Then, select what type of highlight you would like -- NoteLedge offers normal highlight, underlining, strikethrough, and squiggly underline.
3. To add notes, click the "Edit" icon, then click the comment box icon on the leftmost side of the bottom menu. Then, press the location you would like your note to be. It will show up as a small red comment box.
4. To view each of your highlights and annotations, click the BOTA icon in the top left corner. BOTA stands for "Bookmark, Outline, Thumbnails, Annotations." You view your highlights and notes here; additionally, you can also link your notes to other notebooks in NoteLedge.
